In a late flurry of activity on the festival front, Polish Open’er festival has added The Cardigans to the line up. Not only is this a massive coup for the festival but it is also the first time the Swedish band have been to Poland.

Bringing with them is a back catalogue of songs that have somehow ingrained themselves into the subconscious of the world; Hits such as My Favourite Game, Erase/Rewind and Lovefool, the latter soundtracked Baz Luhrmanns cult-film Romeo+Juliet with Leonardo Dicaprio.
